Better item specifics. Clearer listings. Stronger buyer matching.
eBay's Best Match weighs how well a listing matches the search, its completeness, photos, returns, handling time and seller record. Item specifics are eBay's structured layer and its AI tools read them. Nothing else can be injected: eBay removes scripts, so JSON-LD inside a listing is impossible. We fill the specifics, fix the titles and categories, and measure in Seller Hub.

eBay audit scope
| Area | What we check |
|---|---|
| Best Match factors | Title match, completeness, photos, returns policy, handling time, seller record |
| Category | Correct leaf category and the specifics it requires |
| Title | 80-character limit, search-order of attributes, no all-caps or promo words |
| Item specifics | Required, recommended and 'Does not apply' placeholders |
| Condition | Condition and condition description, flaws shown |
| Photographs | Up to 24, every angle, flaws visible, 1,600 px long side |
| Offer quality | Returns, handling time, shipping options, promoted listings |
Issues we fix
- Item specifics left blank or set to 'Does not apply' so the listing drops out of filtered results
- Titles under 60 characters that waste the space, or stuffed titles that read badly
- Wrong leaf category, which changes which specifics apply
- Description HTML that eBay flags as disallowed
- Condition descriptions that hide flaws and drive returns
- A single photo for a product buyers need to see from every side

Questions
Can you add schema to my eBay listings?
No. eBay removes script tags from listings, and its own pages already carry eBay's product markup. We fill item specifics instead, and use your brand site for Product schema that points at the eBay item.
Do longer titles sell more?
eBay publishes no sales figure for title length. Its Seller Center advice is: "You've got 80 characters to use, so use as many as you can in your title." We use the full 80 characters when the facts justify it.
Does this work for used and refurbished items?
Yes. Condition and condition description matter even more there, and we show flaws rather than hide them.
Where this sits in the plans
eBay can be the single channel on Starter or one of two marketplaces on Growth. Extra listing optimizations are $149.
